ABOUT ABOUT

Don't miss a moment of the rest of Starkville Community Theatre's great season, which continues soon with: an adaptation of a beloved novel, the Mississippi premiere of an exciting Southern drama, the stage version of a cult classic comedic murder-mystery, and a farcical riff on a Hitchcock spy potboiler headline.

Pickup season tickets are on sale now, with three shows left in the main season. The remaining productions are:

Little Women - November 30, 2023 at 7 p.m.; December 1 and 2 at 7 p.m.; December 3 at 2 p.m.; December 5-8 at 7 p.m.; and December 9 at 2 p.m.

Just in time for the holidays, the heartwarming stage adaptation of the timeless and enduring classic novel, about the March sisters' journey from childhood to maturity set against the backdrop of Civil War-era America.

Alabama Story - February 15-17, 2024 at 7 p.m.; February 18 at 2 p.m.; and February 20-23 at 7 p.m.

In 1959 in Montgomery, a children's book about a black rabbit marrying a white rabbit stirs the passions of a segregationist Alabama senator and a no-nonsense librarian, along with two childhood friends - an African-American man and a woman of white privilege - reunited in adulthood. Inspired by true events, this tale of the Deep South during the flowering of the civil rights movement brims with humor, heartbreak, and hope.

Clue - April 11-13, 2024 at 7 p.m.; April 14 at 2 p.m.; April 16-19 at 7 p.m.; and April 20 at 2 p.m.

The classic board game (and its cult classic film adaptation) is brought to life as six guests are invited to a dinner party thrown by an anonymous host. What follows is a madcap, slapstick evening of blackmail, murder, mystery and laughs as the party guests must play the deadly game of puzzling out the culprit.

There's also a "plus" version of the pickup season ticket, which includes the extra show "The 39 Steps".

The 39 Steps - May 15-18, 2024 at 7 p.m. and May 19 at 2 p.m.

Mix Hitchcock, a juicy spy novel, and a dash of Monty Python, and you have a fast-paced whodunit packed with nonstop guffaws. Over 150 zany characters (played by a cast of only four) lead audiences through a tangled web of espionage, an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, a chase on a moving train, and even some good old-fashioned romance!

All individual show tickets for the rest of the season are $20 for general admission, with $15 discounted tickets for students and active military.

Season tickets save money off general admission costs and allow early booking for reservations, before the public can take the best seats on the most popular performance dates.
